Cloisonné
lapel pins are formed to a copper bronze surface and filled with a
glasslike mixture. The pins are fired in a kiln to ensure the colors
do not bleed. More color is added and the lapel pins are fired a second
time. These steps guarantee the colors do not bleed. The lapel pins
are finally hand polished to give a jewelry-like finish.
Cloisonné
lapel pins are popular because of their hard durable finish. The colors
are clearly separated by a fine gold or silver line to bring out bold
colors and designs. Cloisonné lapel pins are excellent for
recognition and promotional events.
